COZUMEL WEDDING REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Passport
- Medical Statement — Simple blood test or note from family physician stating good health
- Two Witnesses Each — Each must provide Tourist Card & Photo ID
*If necessary, witnesses can be supplied locally at $25 USD per witness

Cruise Ship Passengers:
You can be legally married on a one-day stop on Cozumel. How? Before you board your ship, we will prepare and process all required documentation so that when you arrive you may simply enjoy your wedding and your time in the Port of Cozumel.
Combining your Cruise and your wedding,
makes for a wonderful honeymoon, this year
alone we have hosted over 50 groups and couples who have made
Cozumel their destination for their wedding. Something Special will attend
to every detail of your wedding and reception, we can provide you with the
ceremony, a mini reception or a complete reception with a full dinner,
entertainment, dancing etc. Please note that all Ship Passenger Weddings
will take place at the renowned beach
club, Playa Uvas, which is conveniently
located a short 2 miles
from the Cruise Ship piers!
Our vast experience enables us to
expedite your documentation with great
efficiency so you may enjoy your vacation
without having to spend it in Government
administrative offices. You will receive
your marriage certificate upon completion of
the civil ceremony and leave Cozumel a
legally married couple. When you return
home, you will simple use your Mexican
Marriage License to have your name changed.
Couples who who wish to do the legal ceremony
at home can have a Symbolic Ceremony with our
Non-Denominational Minister.
A minimum fee of $200.00 is applied to all Cruise Ship Wedding Packages, this fee covers the necessary visas that are not
normally issued to passengers, but are necessary
for a legal ceremony in Mexico.
Vow Renewal or
Symbolic Ceremony:
Something Special offers a wonderful
Vow Renewal Ceremony by our non-denominational Minister.
We customize the ceremony to your liking. If
you are celebrating an anniversary or would
like to have a symbolic ceremony only, this
is perfect for you.
Please remember, the civil ceremony is the only legal ceremony according to Mexican Law. Details provided upon request.
